Questions about Posting an Ad
Posting an ad is easy. Simply follow the instructions below:
Step1: Click on “Create Free Ad ” on top right corner of the webpage or “Post a free classified ” in the Quick Links or on the “SELL” tab on the homepage link to post your Ad.
Step2: Fill the form which appears on the screen.
Step3: Select the appropriate category and sub-category where you would like to display your Ad ( Only items that are marked with "*" are mandatory).
Step4: Enter a title, price (if applicable) and description of your item or service.
Step5: Click the "Post Your Ad" button after you finish entering the details. It will display a message that, “Your information has been successfully captured. Please Register Now for your Ad to be posted”. If you are not already registered user
Note – Wikree requires you to Register for your Ad to appear on the site. This is only to try and build a secure online community of genuine users.
If you are already a registered user. You will see success message and your ad will be added to your "My Wikree" section.
How much does it cost to post an Ad on Wikree?
NOTHING. Wikree is a free service and does not charge you any fees to post Ads. Go ahead and use the service and do recommend us to your friends and family. All Ads are subject to meeting the Terms of Use (TOU) and Privacy Policy.
How long do Ads stay after being posted on Wikree?
The Ads will remain on the site for 3 months or until you delete them manually from the "My Classifieds" section, whatever comes first.
How do I add a picture to my Ad?
When you are on the "Post a free Ad" page, click the "Upload..." button. Select a picture file from your computer's hard disk and Click "OK". The picture will then be uploaded and attached to your Ad. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words, so including one with your Ad will increase your chances of getting a reply.

How do I edit/update Ads that I have posted?
You have to click on the "My Classifieds" tab within the "My Wikree" section (on the homepage). You wil see a list of the postings you have made. You can then select the Ad you want to edit.
Why am I unable to post Ads on the site?
There could be multiple reasons for this:
- Users who are not Registered or have not Signed In cannot post Ads. Please check if you are signed in|registered. Trust me, its not difficult and takes only a few seconds!
- Users who violate Wikree's Terms of Use (TOU) and Listing Polices, are banned from the website and cannot make postings.
- Neither of the above reasons. Please contact us with your problem, from the "Feedback" section on the homepage and we will get back to you with a solution promptly.
How can I get a better responses for my Ad posting on Wikree?
To increase your chances of getting a good response, follow these simple tips:
- Include a picture in your Ad.
- Make the title and description as detailed as possible. For example: when selling a product include its brand, model number, condition, and features.
- Always use the correct spellings in your Ad content to make your Ad more search friendly.
- Make it easy for people to contact you; give your contact number, let people know where exactly you are located and when you will be available.
- And lastly, tell your friends about Wikree! The more people use Wikree, higher the chances of you getting responses on your ad.
How do I know if someone is interested in my Ad?
Users can give their contact details only if they wish to do so. While posting an Ad, you do not have to necessarily include your phone number. Although we encourage you to include your phone number.
If you put your phone number, the interested parties can directly contact you. Which makes your ad that much better and increases your chances of getting a response.
However, if you choose not to reveal your phone number, Wikree allows users to send you an email by clicking on the "BUY" button under your Ad. (Note: your email Id is not revealed anywhere on the site, to anybody). After you receive an email message, you can choose to respond and give additional information like your phone number.
You also have the “My Alerts” option. This alert option informs you as soon as you get a reply to your posted Ad.

How do I find an Ad for a specific item or service on Wikree?

Keyword Search
To find an Ad for a specific item or service on Wikree, you need to enter the relevant/exact keyword and the find feature on the site will display results matching your search terms. Users can enter keywords in the find text box and select a category from the drop down box as shown below and then click “Go”.
- Category-Based Search
You can also click on the "BUY" tab directly to view the latest Ads on Wikree. You can then use the filters in the left column "Refine Results" to narrow down the search for a particular category/sub-category.
You can also directly click a category like Real Estate, Electronics, etc on the homepage and then look for what you are looking for.
How do I reply to an Ad on Wikree?
To reply to an Ad, you need to Sign In with your Email Id and Password and find the Ad you would like to reply to and then open the Ad by clicking on the image or text of the Ad. You will be landing in page with detailed view of the posted Ad. Please click on "BUY" button to reply. This would open a "Send Request" box with your email id. Please write your message and click on "Send" button to reply to the Ad.

The "My Wikree" section has all your previous and current Ads listed. You can use the "My Classifieds" link to manage your Ads. You can modify, add or delete an Ad.
How do I delete an Ad that I have posted?
To delete your Ad, you need to Sign In with your Username and Password. Then go to your "My Wikree" section. In the My Classifieds section, select the checkbox next to the Ad you want to delete. Then click on the "Remove Selected Ad" button at the bottom of the page.
How do I update my Wikree profile?
As a Registered User, you can edit your profile under "My Wikree" through the “My Profile" section. Please click the "Save" button after making the changes to store your new details.

Do I need to Register to post Ads?
Yes. You need to Register on the site to Post Ads. But, it is a very quick and easy process. All the information you enter is strictly monitored under our Privacy Policy . We value the privacy of our customers.
What benefits do I have if I Register on Wikree?
As a Registered User, you can post Ads and manage your own Ads from "My Wikree". In addition, you can update your profile on the website, subscribe to email alerts and add Ads of interest to ‘My Watchlist’.
Additionally, if you are registered under our "Corporate Community" Section,you have many more benefits.
What is a Corporate Community?
Corporate Community is a select group of corporate users who are members of Wikree. If your company/group is registered with Wikree, you have the option to use your corporate email credentials to register on the site. You can then choose to display your ads to - Your company, your group, the entire corporate community or all of Wikree.
How do I Register?
Click on the Register link at the top right of the homepage. You will be directed to a form which requires you to fill some basic information. Click on “Join Wikree”. Fill the form and submit.
Wikree will send you your Login details on the email id you have mentioned in the form. You will have to click on a link that will be provided at the email id you provided, to complete the registration process.
NOTE: We would like to encourage you to enter your corporate Email Id if you would like to get benefits of being part of the "Corporate Community".
How do I Sign In?
Click on the Sign In link at the top right of the page. This will take you to a Sign In page where you need to mention your Email Id and Password and then click on the “Sign In” button.
